'I don't want anyone to feel the way I feel. I want everyone to be treated the same' - A quote from this video of Jordan Hailwood, an Oxford Brookes graduate talking about why he wanted to have his voice heard on the Clear Lessons platform. We wanted to give every volunteer the opportunity to explain why they wanted to be involved in the EDI Clear Lessons series. We think it is important to realise why using platforms and speaking out about topics such as EDI can really make a difference and help.
Words from Jordan:
''My name is Jord, I am a final year sociology graduate student at Oxford Brookes. I am extremely passionate about equal rights for unprivileged social groups. I love what EDI stands for and think EDI is important as it aims to create equal opportunities and entitlements for everybody which is something that should be essential, not a privilege.''
